We’re hiring at Notre Dame Academy in Los Angeles—but not just in the traditional sense.
We’ve been rethinking what middle school learning should look like. We’re redesigning our schedule to create more space for differentiation, deeper thinking, and student engagement—while still maintaining a strong, guaranteed curriculum.
As part of that work, we’re looking to grow our team across several roles, including:
- Lower grades elementary teachers
- Middle School ELA Teacher
- Middle School Math Lab
- Middle School Science Teacher
Some of these are traditional classroom roles. Some are not.
Our lab positions, in particular, are designed for educators who think differently about teaching. Teachers who enjoy:
- working with students in small groups
- coaching rather than lecturing
- helping students build confidence through practice and revision
- designing flexible learning experiences based on student needs
At NDA, our faculty thrives in an environment that balances structure with innovation. We are a student-centered school with a clear instructional vision, and we invest in our teachers through coaching, collaboration, and leadership opportunities.
We are also a Catholic school, grounded in faith, service, and community. While not all faculty are Catholic, all are committed to supporting the mission and the formation of the whole child.
This is a place for educators who are:
- comfortable navigating complexity
- open to feedback and growth
- motivated by what is best for students, even when it requires flexibility
If you’re someone who is excited by the idea of building something, not just maintaining it, I’d love to connect.
