Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional School Van Driver to safely transport students to and from school and related activities. This role is essential for ensuring timely and secure transportation for students, contributing to a positive school environment. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate school vans
- Transport students to designated locations, ensuring punctuality and safety at all times
- Assist students with boarding and disembarking, providing friendly customer service
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and any incidents during transportation
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and students regarding schedules or delays
- Report any vehicle issues or safety concerns promptly to management
Skills
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and school staff
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for commercial or passenger vehicle operation (e.g., driver license)
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe transportation environment
