Description
Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish is seeking a full-time, in-person Director of Parish Relations to manage the external-facing operations of the parish and help ensure our parish family continues to thrive.
Essential Duties
- Office Administration: document organization, office hospitality, answering the phone, welcoming visitors
- Parishioner Relations: onboarding new parishioners, maintaining parishioner records, receiving parishioner inquiries
- Communications: preparing the weekly bulletin and newsletter, updating the parish website, sending ad-hoc parish-wide emails
- Volunteers: managing and delegating work to various groups of volunteers
- Sacramental Coordination: scheduling and recording the various sacraments
- Event Planning: scheduling, coordinating, planning, and executing recurring and one-off parish events
- Other duties as assigned

- Punctuality: Maintains attention to detail, respects the time of others, and is well prepared
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; familiarity with Flocknote, Canva, and PDF applications
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or 3-5 years work experience
- Practicing Catholic with ethical standards, personal integrity, and conduct consistent with the morals and teachings of the Catholic Church including faithful obedience to the Magisterium.
