Monsignor Slade Catholic School, located in Glen Burnie, is seeking a full-time Intermediate Level Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a 10-month position that includes eligibility for benefits. Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong instructional skills, a nurturing and student-centered approach, and a commitment to supporting the academic and personal growth of students. Candidates should also demonstrate a willingness and ability to teach a variety of subject areas, collaborate with colleagues, and create engaging lessons for students. Essential Functions
- Provides grade-appropriate instructional programs for students that adhere to the school's philosophy, goals, and objectives.
- Develops lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocesan curriculum.
- Maintains an updated and accurate gradebook at all times.
- Observe and assess student progress, keep detailed records observing student behaviors and academics, and share with parents.
- Communicate in a clear, professional, and timely manner with parents and colleagues (including
grade-level partner collaboration)
- Support the mission of the school and the Catholic church within instructional practices.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required (preferably in Elementary education, or related field)
- Current MSDE certification or ability to achieve required certification within two years of start
date.
- Experience in student teaching or classroom teaching at the elementary, middle, or high school
level.
- Familiarity with a variety of technology tools to enrich and differentiate instruction.
- Familiarity with the Catholic Church and a willingness to support and uphold a Catholic school environment that recognizes the dignity of every human being.

Range: $48,000 - $70,000, Annualized
