The Kindergarten Aide supports the classroom teacher in creating a nurturing, faith-filled, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. This role assists with daily classroom activities, helps maintain a safe and orderly space, and encourages students social, emotional, and academic growth in alignment with the mission and values of the Catholic school community.Key Responsibilities- Support the lead teacher with instructional activities, classroom management, and supervision.- Assist students individually or in small groups with learning tasks, routines, and transitions.- Help prepare materials, organize supplies, and maintain a clean, welcoming classroom.- Supervise children during recess, lunch, and other non-classroom times as needed.- Model and reinforce positive behavior, kindness, and respect rooted in Catholic values.- Communicate effectively and professionally with staff, students, and families.Qualifications- Experience working with young children preferred.- Warm, patient, and collaborative disposition.- Ability to support the Catholic mission and participate respectfully in faith-based activities.- Reliability, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with children
