Marquette Catholic Schools is looking for a caring and dependable Full-Time Paraprofessional to join our staff for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
We know that paraprofessionals are the heart of a smoothly running school. In this role, you will work closely with our classroom teachers to provide extra help to students who need it, assist teachers with classroom tasks, provide student supervision, and by being a steady and encouraging presence in the school.
We are a growing Catholic school situated by the Mississippi River in Bellevue. We pride ourselves on a close-knit, family-like atmosphere where every staff member's contribution is truly valued.
What you will be doing:
Assist teachers with everyday classroom activities and lesson preparations.
Work directly with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning and provide academic support.
Help to implement individualized student support plans alongside our teaching staff.
Help to keep students focused and engaged.
Provide supervision during non-instructional times, such as recess, lunch, or hallway transitions.
Who we are looking for:
Someone who is patient, flexible, and genuinely loves working with children and adults.
A strong team player who communicates well and is happy to jump in wherever help is needed.
Prior experience working in a school, childcare, or coaching setting is a plus, but not strictly required.
An individual who respects and supports the values, traditions, and mission of Catholic education.
