JOB PURPOSE: The Community Resource Director (CRD) serves as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for the oversight and daily management of the Hunger Center, Youth Services, Reception Area, and other ancillary programs. The CRD also leads the recruitment, coordination, and support of all organizational volunteers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Program Development and Management – Provides leadership and daily operations of the Hunger Center, Youth Services and other ancillary programs. Maintains up-to-date resource information on internal and community programs and services, to assist participants. Maintains the client database system, ensures that data is entered in a timely and efficient manner; ensures all necessary and appropriate data is being collected from participants. Ensures protection of all capital assets, allocates product as mandated by Hunger Network, Catholic Charities, Cleveland Foodbank, and any other funder associated with the programs. Identify and develop new programs and services to enhance the Settlement’s impact.
2. Program Reports and Compliance – Ensure all programs are in full compliance with applicable laws, state and federal regulations and organizational policies. Prepare and submit monthly reports to funders and lead and support the grant application process. Review and analyze program performance data to measure outcomes and improve service delivery.
3. Team Management – Provide leadership and guidance to department heads, managers, volunteers and community partners. Ensure team members have the support and resources necessary to meet organizational goals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture through coaching, professional development, and team building.
4. Process Improvement- Identify and analyze existing business processes; recommend and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance Hunger Center and 21st Century participant experience.
5. Community Engagement - Represents the agency at meetings, conferences, and other functions; cultivate collaborative relationships with the public, including businesses, community groups and organizations to enhance service delivery.
6. Volunteer Recruitment – Lead the recruitment, training, scheduling, and support of all organizational volunteers.
7. Budget and Financial Management- Collaborate with senior leadership team to prepare and manage operational budgets. Partner with accounting team to support process billing and financial reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required: Bachelor’s degree and/or three to five years’ experience (or equivalent). Must have and maintain a valid Ohio driver’s license and car insurance. Experience managing volunteers and working with/ as a volunteer. Must have excellent organizational, communication and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community; is required. Must have the ability to build professional relationships, excellent written communication skills and the ability to work independently. Preferred: Master’s degree or equivalent experience with three years’ experience in the field

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
