About Us
Guadalupe Radio is a non-profit religious organization, located in El Monte, CA, that seeks to bring to light Christ and his Gospel by means of media communication. Guadalupe Radio is currently looking for a full time Receptionist.
The Receptionist Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies Guadalupe Radio personnel of visitor check-in.
Position Overview
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for our ministry. This role ensures a welcoming environment for visitors and callers while supporting administrative operations and bookstore assistance under the supervision of the Office & HR Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors with warmth and professionalism.
- Answer and direct incoming calls with extreme charity.
- Provide general information about programming and events.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Assist with administrative and clerical tasks.
- Support bookstore sales and restocking.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Supports activities of other departments in the organization, ie registrations, donations and other duties as needed and under the direction of the Office & HR Manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Prior customer service or receptionist experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (email, Word, Excel).
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Bilingual: English & Spanish.
- Personal: Outgoing, Positive, Responsible, Trustworthy, Attention to detail, Flexible with working hours, Willingness to accept additional responsibilities.
