Job Summary
St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School is seeking responsible, energetic, and caring Summer Camp Aides to support our summer camp program. Summer Camp Aides help provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children while modeling Christian values and supporting the mission of Catholic education.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children during daily camp activities
- Assist with games, crafts, outdoor play, and special activities
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive environment
- Support campers with transitions, lunch, snacks, and restroom breaks as needed
- Model respectful behavior and promote cooperation and inclusion
- Communicate effectively with camp supervisors and fellow staff
- Follow all school policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Support the mission and values of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School
Qualifications
- High school diploma or current high school enrollment preferred
- Experience working with children preferred
- Ability to actively supervise campers indoors and outdoors
- Dependable, patient, and positive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Practicing Catholic preferred; all candidates must support the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church
