Purpose:
Notre Dame Jr/Sr High School is seeking an energetic, dynamic, passionate Catholic, who has a desire to share in the evangelizing mission of our Catholic schools through their witness to the core tenants of the Roman Catholic faith. The ideal candidate will have experience in catechesis and youth ministry, be an active member of a Catholic parish, experience working with teenagers, and have excellent communication skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Coordinator of Campus Ministry
Qualifications:
- Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing.
- Must be a registered parishioner at a Catholic parish.
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Theology, Ministry, or a related field.
- Experience in youth ministry/catechesis preferred.
Purpose Statement: Notre Dame Jr/Sr High School is seeking an energetic and qualified Coordinator of Campus Ministry. The successful candidate should be well-versed in the teachings of the Catholic Church and demonstrate the ability to inspire and motivate young people. Strong organizational and leadership skills are desired.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Organize and lead campus ministry at a 6-12 Junior/Senior High School including scheduling and organizing school liturgies, student retreats, and other school-wide liturgical and faith-based activities.
- Manage student behavior for the purpose of providing a safe and stimulating learning environment.
- Cooperate and collaborate with school administration to meet school objectives.
- Develop a nurturing environment that emphasizes a love of learning.
- Be able to assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Supervise students in various environments.
