Position Summary
The Director of Admissions leads, manages, and evaluates the student enrollment process from
inquiry through admissions to assimilation into the school's culture. Along with process
management, the position provides creative oversight and direction, in keeping with the Holy Cross
mission, to recruit, enroll and retain students. The Director of Admissions serves as a model and
resource for the school's example of building the whole man: Mind and Heart, Body and Soul and is
a key brand ambassador for Holy Cross School in the community, ensuring families, community
partners and other stakeholders view Holy Cross School as an outstanding Catholic school that
prioritizes relationships and prepares our students for their future.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field required; master's degree preferred
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Experience with Blackbaud's enrollment management software preferred
• Experience managing a budget and projecting costs for enrollment initiatives
• Supervision and management experience
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for the full enrollment strategy for creating strategic plans to address
enrollment needs in
collaboration with the school's leadership, faculty, and stakeholders.
• Responsible for current student retention and the development of retention strategies.
• Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and
surveys to
support the organization's enrollment needs, including but not limited to Open House.
• Oversee all aspects of recruiting new and returning students to Holy Cross School grades PreK
– 12th.
• Collaborate with faculty and Principals of each school to coordinate onboarding strategies for
new families, re-enrollment process and retention efforts.
• Collaborate with the Director of Communications to increase brand awareness in the community,
effectively conveying the school value proposition and facilitating interest in Holy Cross.
• Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in
enrollment management.
• Lead, supervise, mentor, and train the enrollment management team and drive process
improvement within the department.
• Gather and analyze recruitment, enrollment, and attrition data to identify future enrollment
needs and strategize solutions. • Contribute to the school community by attending school events, creating a cohesive presence
with Administration, Faculty, and the Student Body.
• Engage in professional learning.
• Serve in various capacities throughout the school as support staff as needed.
• Represent the Holy Cross brand while being an enthusiastic school ambassador, always looking
to form new community connections and strengthen existing ones.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes a comprehensive benefits
