Position Dates: February 23, 2026 thru June 12, 2026
Saint Joseph of Cupertino school is looking for a Long-term Substitute teacher to be the 8th grade homeroom teacher and teach Middle School Gr. 6th-8th Language Arts. The ideal candidate will have prior experience teaching Middle School grades and a passion for creating a nurturing, engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing lesson plans that support student growth and learning
Grading student work and posting grades in Educate
Communicating regularly with families through weekly newsletters
Collaborating with colleagues and supporting the school’s mission and values
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching Kindergarten or primary grades
Valid teaching credential (preferred)
Strong communication and organizational skills
