About Us
At Ora et Labora Catholic Counseling, our name reflects who we are: prayer (ora) and work (labora). We believe healing is rooted in both spiritual insight and skilled clinical practice.

We are a growing, mission-driven virtual practice committed to providing high-quality, faith-informed therapy to clients seeking meaningful healing and growth. Our clinicians integrate evidence-based mental health care with a deep respect for the Catholic faith and the dignity of each person.

Our practice serves clients navigating concerns such as anxiety, OCD, scrupulosity, trauma, maternal mental health, depression, life transitions, and other mental health challenges. We emphasize both clinical excellence and authentic integration of Catholic faith, cultivating a collaborative environment where clinicians can grow professionally, serve others, and thrive.

Position Overview
We are hiring a Licensed or Pre-Licensed Mental Health Therapist who desires to practice in a way that is authentically aligned with Catholic teaching and thoughtfully integrates faith into clinical care.

This position is intentionally designed to begin with part-time clinical hours, allowing clinicians to develop a sustainable caseload and gradually grow toward full-time work if desired. Clinicians may choose to remain part-time or expand their schedule as client referrals increase.

This is an opportunity for a clinician who values flexibility, meaningful clinical work, and being part of a growing practice with a strong mission.

We are particularly interested in clinicians with the following skills and clinical focus:
- Maternal mental health
- OCD and anxiety
- Marriage and family therapy

What We Offer
- Fully virtual practice: Provide telehealth services from home while reaching clients across Virginia and Maryland
- W-2 employment: Enjoy the stability of employee status with less administrative burden and more focus on client care
- Competitive compensation: Percentage split compensation structure based on clinical hours and licensure level
- Paid administrative time: Receive compensation for select non-clinical responsibilities related to client care and practice operations
- Flexible scheduling: Begin with a manageable caseload and grow toward your ideal schedule over time
- Supportive professional environment: Receive mentorship, collaboration, and encouragement as you develop your clinical strengths
- Opportunity for specialization: Build expertise in areas that align with your interests and the needs of our clients with encouragement and practical support from your team
