The Catholic Schools Office of the Diocese of Scranton is seeking a dynamic, faith-filled educational leader to serve as Principal of Holy Family Academy, a Pre-K through 8th grade institution located in Hazleton. This position will begin on July 1, 2026.

The Principal is responsible for fostering a school environment rooted in Catholic values while promoting academic excellence and ensuring the long-term vitality of the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide visionary leadership that supports academic achievement and continuous school improvement
Promote and nurture Catholic identity, faith formation, and spiritual development
Oversee daily school operations, including faculty supervision and student discipline
Build strong relationships with students, parents, faculty, parish, and the broader community
Ensure the school’s sustainability through strategic planning, enrollment growth, and resource management

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or a related field
Valid state certification as a school principal
All required clearances
Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written)
