Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our teaching faculty. This full-time position requires thoughtful unit planning utilizing the Understanding by Design model, effectively engaging students within a 75-minute class period on an every-other-day rotation schedule. The ideal candidate will teach six periods of coursework, maintain an active presence on CANVAS learning management system, and communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress. This role also provides opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities that align with the school’s mission and values. This is a Full-time role for the school year (August through early June)

Qualifications & Requirements:

Ability to support the mission of the school
Bachelor’s degree in Spanish or education; master’s preferred
At least two years of high school instructional experience preferred
Ability to work collaboratively
Flexibility in assigned courses to teach within the department
Ability to support the mission of the school
State of Florida teacher certification or eligibility to obtain within two years
